Organometallic chemistry of the d-block elements; electron counting, stability and reactivity, reaction mechanisms, steric and electronic influence of the ligands on reactivity. Application in homogeneous catalysis, industrial processes: hydrogenation, hydroformylation, polymerisation, metathesis etc. New developments, possible new processes and applications.
