Advanced Biophysics

Description

The Advanced Biophysics course is intended for advanced master’s students and Ph.D. students. It builds on the material covered in the course Biophysics, but completion of the latter is not required to enroll into this course. The student should obtain an understanding of the physical principles underlying the many facets of modern biological physics, as well as an appreciation of their biological context.

  • Self-organized systems and pattern formation

  • Protein folding

  • Cellular networks

  • Molecular motors

  • Polymers and membranes

  • Gene regulation

Programme form
