Leiden Law School is renowned in a number of fields including Public International Law, European and International Business Law, International Tax Law, and Air and Space Law. Specialist Master of Laws Advanced Studies programmes (LL.M. Adv.) are offered in each of these areas.
A Leiden Master of Laws Advanced Studies degree is a highly specialised postgraduate qualification providing students with a firm basis for entering the employment market both at home and internationally. Advanced LL.M. students are also involved in the research carried out within their department, enabling graduates to enter a career in academic research as well as in the public or private sector. Classes are small and the number of contact hours high, and students are generally taught by our most senior faculty as well as leading experts and guest lecturers in the field. The programmes are highly international, with students coming from over 50 countries and all five continents.
All of Leiden University’s Master of Laws Advanced Studies programmes are NVAO-accredited.
