Linguistics: Comparative Indo-European Linguistics

This is a specialisation within the MA Linguistics.

The specialisation consists of eight 5 EC courses or equivalent and the MA thesis (20 EC)

Students take eight 5 EC courses (or equivalent), as follows:

Course 1: Advanced Readings in Indo-European Linguistics I
Course 2: Advanced Readings in Indo-European Linguistics II
Courses 3 and 4: Either Indo-European Phonology and Morphology I: Phonology and Indo-European Phonology and Morphology II: Morphology (the admissions committee may require that a student follow these courses) or any one 10 EC course or two 5 EC courses offered within the MA Linguistics (including the list below)
Courses 5 and 6: Two other courses from the list below
Courses 7 and 8: Any two 5 EC courses or one 10 EC course offered within the MA Linguistics (including the list below) or a course on a linguistic subject taught in another MA
