Engelse taal en cultuur

Bachelor

Tijdens de studie Engelse Taal en Cultuur worden alle vier de hoofdvakgebieden behandeld: Filologie, Literatuur, Taalkunde en Taalvaardigheid. Het bachelorprogramma beslaat drie jaar, wat overeenkomt met 180 ECTS. Van deze 180 ECTS is 140 beschikbaar voor het hoofdvak, 30 ECTS voor de minor c.q. keuzepakket en 10 ECTS voor het kerncurriculum (o.a. Wetenschapsfilosofie). In de propedeuse ligt het programma geheel vast, in het tweede jaar kun je kiezen voor een minor of keuzepakket en moet je beslissen of je Britse of Amerikaanse Literatuur wilt volgen. In het derde jaar zijn Taalvaardigheid 5 en 6 verplicht, en kun je binnen de andere drie hoofdvakgebieden je eigen keuzes maken. De studie wordt afgesloten met een bachelor werkstuk.
